These products are composed of hyaluronic acid, a substance found in normal tissue. Depending on the location and the product used, results may last 3-24 months. These products are great for first-time patients who are apprehensive since they can be dissolved if desired. The thinner products such as Juvederm Ultra XC are used to treat fine lines, while thicker products such as Juvederm Voluma and Restylane Lyft are used to volumize.

Non-Hyaluronic Acid Fillers
Sculptra
This filler is composed of poly-L-lactic acid, which stimulates new collagen growth. A series of 3 treatments are done over 3-6 months and results can last over 2 years. This product is wonderful for volumizing areas such as the cheeks and temples.
